Qualifications
We are preferably looking for a person with a degree in veterinary medicine, agriculture, biology or similar.
Role Overview
The role of the Ruminants Sales Representative is that of developing the maximum profitable sales of Elanco products in the assigned customers through full coverage of all targeted contacts and by becoming a value-added partner to them. Trough one-on-one sales conversation, group discussion and educational programs, the Ruminants Sales Representative presents the whole range of Elanco products and solutions. In this role he/she will help the ustomer to use the products to the best benefit. The Ruminants Sales
Representative is accountable for the development of value added projects which fit with customer goals and needs. Through the execution, the Ruminants Sales Representative coordinates commercial and technical activities with veterinarians, integrations and producers in a team environment.
Swine and/or Poultry background will be also valued.
Essential Job Functions
Management of the distributors of the ruminant business.
Organization and definition of the distribution network of the ruminant business.
Implementation and execution of the marketing strategies of the ruminant portfolio.
Management and maximization of resources for the ruminant business in order to achieve the sell in / sell out objectives defined by the company.
KOL management for key business brands (Kexxtone and Vecoxan).
Development of value projects in the ruminant business nationwide, including areas outside of its direct sales responsibility.
Collaboration and teamwork with the technical service and marketing, in order to create strategies that adapt to the reality of the market.
Participation in national and / or international congresses according to business needs.
Participation in national and / or international internal meetings / roadshows.
Technical support in other areas, according to needs.
Requirements
At least 3-5 years of previous work experience in the ruminants business area, also experience in the swine/poultry business area is a plus.
